Van Morrison The Sopranos With All Due Respect

Checking my referrer's log, I noticed several people arriving here searching for the Van Morrison tune that was used on the season-ending episode of The Sopranos. I feel bad, because I don't have that info here. But now I do.

The song was "Glad Tidings" on Van's classic Moondance album. My favorite singer on my favorite TV show. Ah, life is good.
And we'll send you glad tidings from New York
Open up your eyes so you may see
Ask you not to read between the lines
Hope that you will come in right on time
The complete lyrics can be viewed here.

Then, alas, comes the bad news today. A new album, with a duet on "Crazy Love," was suposed to be coming this fall. Sad, very sad, indeed.

I heard Thursday afternoon and thought this is truly someone to mourn, and not the politically manufactured week-long mournathon we're having down here in the states for Reagan.
