Orbitz Beware

Beverly and I went to Vermont this weekend. We stayed at a resort in Killington. Unfortunately we were on the western slope and it rained for most of Saturday afternoon. (Sunday was very pleasant though.)

I booked the room through Orbitz: a King Deluxe. But when we got there I was informed they had no King Deluxe rooms left, and only a room with 2 double beds. I was told that this wasn’t an unusual occurrence when it came with internet bookings, and in fact there have been times when they had no rooms at all for some who had booked using a service such as Orbitz.

Bottom line: beware of Orbitz.
