The Rose and the White Trashfindel

I don’t have much to say these days. As the sun declines so do I. I will say that my copy of The Rose & the Briar: Death, Love and Liberty in the American Ballad came in the mail yesterday. I am looking forward to reading all 22 contributors, and hope to blog a bit on this in the coming days.

But, now for something completely different. Over at Dr. J.’s, there’s some information concerning a new box wine coming from WalMart. The suggested names are, I think, a hoot. If I had to vote, I’d go with NASCARbernet for the red and World Championship Riesling for the white. But you could definitely disagree. Check them out.
