The New Prophecy (part three)

When seven knives are in the sink
the coffee mug will fill with dark roast,
and maybe turn a caramel color.

Twenty-seven days will come
before the moon becomes a new moon
disappearing in red skies.

Then the Bears will maul the Lions.
Venus and Serena Williams
will become top-seeded players.

And on the Saturday before
vacation, Bob will barbeque.
His oldest will drink a Mountain Dew.
