Anima Dreamtime
Not an ostrich,
but a greater creature
with graceful feathers,
but like a bear.
And not just brown,
but spotted like winter
on the onset of the spring.
And then there comes a tiger.
Not striped, but solid,
tyrannical,
an animated presence,
miraculous but less
an animal, but more
a masculine emancipated
spirit, pursuing
the feminine forever.
