The Poetry Daily Show Lite 06040601

The Law by Eugene Gloria
Well-told story of alienation with historical and religious echoes. Yet still telling on a personal level. The craft is in the couplets and not the singular line. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. This is the risk of this kind of prose poem. Form will not follow function as well as one might like.
