Four Quartets Of Tetrameter Written In Thanksgiving Of The Spirit Now Remembering There Are More Things In Heaven And Earth, Horatio, Than Are Dreamt Of In Your Philosophy.

It took so many million years
of rhythmic willful evolution
for the energy of our
fantastic ancestors to tune

out far-flung space between the quantum
particles of sub-atomic
actuality and feel
the world as something solid that

we’ve all but now forgotten that
this arduous material
reality we live and breathe
is just illusion once created

for advancement of an up-
and-coming species but now wall
to our survival as kin spirits
in this cosmic body so electric.
