Feeling Like Advaita
Lately, I’ve been feeling
like a tree, and pleased
to be exactly here,
not proud or apathetic,
but presently fulfilled
within this world of light.

and this is simply now.
Don’t ask me why or how
this constancy transpired;
like photosynthesis,
it happens: listen to
the wind caress the leaves,
and rest beneath the play
of sun and shade.
Don’t be afraid.
