Tsk Tsk Tsk

Using a ten year old's poetry to wage their battle upon the other side. Really, isn't the observation to be made here is that this poet may be a bit more mature (or, at least, thankfully innocent) than the other two. And what's really lost from childhood is our willingness to just let people (or poets) be. In the full definition of that simple but wonderful two-letter word. Grow up (or down, whichever).

I happen to agree. I don't see Julia's poetry as a tool in the war against quietude. Ron might have said that her poetry is better than that of many poets period, without mentioning any particular school. I know it's better than mine, for example. Or simply that it is good as what it is, with no invidious comparisons one way or the other. Of course, I should point out she wrote all of it BEFORE she turned 10, and that she has no idea who Robert Pinsky is.
