This morning I’m cultivating that space within that I never knew was there, although I felt it so many times, and even went to great extents to do so. So many trips to the mountains of Acadia National Park, so many hikes in the woods along the river of Maudslay Park, so many walks through the dunes to the ocean surf on Plum Island Reserve. Mountains, woods, and sea can activate that consciousness because they are that consciousness as well. These days I’m learning to realize that I’m that consciousness too. Walking on city streets or sitting at my desk or lounging on this chair, I stop my thoughts, feel my inner form, those mountains, woods, and seas within me, then fall into that deeper space. And breathe.
