What's Good for Sonnet Sequences

The big three in sonnet sequences from the Elizabethan time zone were Shakespeare, Sidney, and Spenser. Of course, the Bard is the General Motors of the bunch. Spenser’s a Chrysler. But I’ll take Philip Sidney, my Model T. The complete “Astrophel and Stella” can be test-driven here.
